I think the picky eaters are not due to genetics. Most of them follow their parents' eating habits. Why I said that is because if a family eat together, they will eat the same things that the parents cook. When the parents cook, they will cook what they like, and will have no choice for their children. So the children accept the parents eating habits without trying other food. Therefore, the parents should have a good diet, so the children can follow them healthily.
I think I am not a fussy eater. I only don't like bitter gourd because it is so bitter and the taste is so bad. Even my mother and brother don't like it. Therefore, a person's eating habit comes from a family's eating habit and not genetics.

Maybe you can put sugar on the gourd so it becomes sweet! Maybe your family can be the first in Hong Kong to start this trend.
