Draft of my scene in Dragonwings

The demons told us to stay in a big room for a week. They talked with us and played with us. There were beds for sleeping which were very comfortable. All the time,we smelled the delicious dishes from the kitchen. Besides that, there were washroom for bathing.

Finally, though, the demons called me for interview, I found they already had a big bunch of papers on my father. Inside it was the record of his first interview, which ran fro someone hundred and fifty pages. They spend an hour looking at it and then chat with me about my village and kinsmen. They tried to prove I was my father's son.

Finally, the demons allowed me to enter the demons land and kept my interview information on their record for future use.

I think Hong Kong's secondary school may not reduce the size of classes in this few years because there are many problems behind this planning. If we do small class teaching, there must be more ineffective teachers teaching. Government may spend a lot of money to build schools and more facilities to the children. But if we can solve the problem of money and places, we will have more benefits with doing small class teaching.Teachers may have fewer books to mark and easily to take care of the students.Those are good for teachers. Students are more visible to teacher and more equal classes. Those are good for students. There must be more classes to keep school open and they can sells school more easily. Those are good for the school owner. If we can do small class teaching, there must be many benefits to the people who are related to school. But we must solve the most affected problems first.

I think Hong Kong fosters one of the qualities - creative. In Hong Kong, there are many classes for design, such as design and technology. In those classes, we can increase our creative by designing things. Now are days, there are many designers in Hong Kong. Some of them learnt design from Hong Kong and they are very creative. Therefore, Hong Kong must fosters creative.
Methodist College certainly can learn creative because there are some subjects for design, like art. We can design our crafts by ourselves in art lesson. So that we can learn our creative in school.

I think Hong Kong doesn't need to have any revolution. Hong Kong is a place of freedom, no need to make other things to control the Hong Kong people. In this book, I know that Annemarie and Ellen were friends. Kirsti was Annemarie's younger sister. I think she was very cute and she always asks some silly questions that makes her sister and mother had nothing to say. And she was a brave girl too. I know that the Germans were bad. They made orders to close many stores run by Jews. And they planed to arrest all the Danish Jews. Ellen's family will be taken away if they don't hide themselves too. So, Annemarie's father planed to keep Ellen and take her parents to a safe place.

For the 13 colonies, they must obey Britain's economic policy. The 13 colonies must sell raw materials to Britain only.And there were no free tradings. They may use Britain's ships to transport goods only. But for Hong Kong, it is a free port in 1841. You can use what ship no matter you want and the ships could enter Victoria Harbour freely.Beside that,there were free tradings in Hong Kong. So, there were many foreigners came to for trading.
There are many political differences and similarities between Hong Kong and the 13 colonies. The Britain government passed some acts made the colonists had to pay for the cost of keeping this army.Such as Sugar act, sugar and wine imports must pay a tax ; Stamp act, all printed documents must pay a stamp duty from 1 cent to 50 dollars; Townshend acts, all paper, tea, lead and glass must a tax.In Hong Kong, we have to pay a tax for wine and pay for the stamp also. But we don't have Townshend acts.

Ocean Park

On Friday, we went to Ocean Park. My friend and I had took a lot of amusement rides. But all of the Rides just have a few people on it, some of the rides we played two times. I think that day was time to go to Ocean Park. On need to line up, and play as much as you can. I think The Dragon is the most exciting ride that we had took, but Yenlt was afraid of it. Then I took with Ada only. On the ride, there were not more than ten people. When The Dragon started, our heat was bitting very fast. Although I am afraid of it, i love to ride on it. I love the moment that I fall down,that was the most exciting part.
At first, I wanted to played The Abyss, but nobody accompany me, and i didn't have enough brave to play it.
At all, i felt very happy and tired. When i went home, i slept immediately.

One Saturday afternoon, my group members and I went to Yau Ma Tei Wing On for doing a interview. Luckily, group member Ada, her aunt is one of the Wing On workers, so it is easier to do our interview.

When we got into Wing On, the first thing we did is to thank Ada's aunt. She helped us to interview her friend. But when we gave the question paper to her friend, we found that she didn't know much English. Then, we asked her in Cantonese and changed the answer in English. I thought that is the most complicated part. We spent almost 30 minutes to do the interview.

In this interview, I learnt that when we ask people question, we have to speak loud and ask them politely. So that, they will reply you seriously and give you a better answer. Next time, I will ask them in a better way and I will find a people that knows English. That will be easier to do the record.

When he woke up, he dressed up quickly, but he relised that that day is no need to go to school. Then he took off his clothes immdiently. He tried to sleep again, but he can't. That is because of he can't go to school, he love his school and he wanted to go to school every day. At last, he thought of his classmate, teachers and the school. Then he slept very well.

My name was Laurence. I lived in the Middle Ages. I was born in Suffolk in 1200A.D. and died in 1240 A.D.
My job was a Vir-Ren Castle gatekeeper, so I lived in Vir-Ren Castle in Suffolk. The castle was very important at that time. It was the most fantastic thing in the town. I was proud of myself because I can live in the castle and work for the king. My job is to protect the king, and don't let the stranger enter the castle. Every day, I have to wake up at 6:00a.m. and watch the gate until the other gatekeeper comes to work.
I think that job is boring,but I love it because I can earn a lot of money and I can have enough food to eat and have place to live. All gatekeepers are friendly to each other. At that time, the king was very kind, so all the town people and the workers were so relax. When we have spare time, we will play with each other. There was a good place to live.

They use Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo as examples of Renaissance men because their art were colourful and mainly about daily life. And Leonardo had a new painting style, such as The Mona Lisa. He used the three-dimensional effect in the painting.And Michelangelo made the famous sculpture, the Pieta. It looks like real and life-like.
There are differences between Renaissance men and the typical characters in the Middle Ages.Medieval artists were dull and their art was not lively.They only made paintings and sculptures about religion. The International Food Fair was held on 7Th December,2007. It was held by the form 2 students from Methodist College. It took place in the lower hall of Methodist College in Yau Ma Tei.
In the food fair, there were many kinds of international food. Each food costed 2 dollars only. The received money will donate to the Charity. It was very meaningful.
on the day, the form 2 students collected a lots of money. But they were in a mess for selling the food. They felt exciting in the food fair, but some students thought angry and tired.

In this food fair, I always remember to speak in English and I remember to be polite because if I don't do that, the teacher will not try our food. In this afternoon, I felt awful because some of my group members didn't do anything and we were in a mess and hurry. When Charlie and I were busy for reheating the food ,nobody helps us.One of my group member was very relax.He set on the chair and had noting to do.I felt very angry with him and I told him to help us to bring the food down to the lower hall but he said no.When the food fair started, he just walked around the hall and tried the other kinds of food.He didn't do anything with our own group, even helped us to serve the students. Charlie and I were very angry, we will never invite him to come to our group again. In this food fair, I learnt that somebody will never do anything. These people will not have responsibility to do things. At all,in my group just have 2-3 members.

In the restaurant review, I learnt how to recommend the dishes to somebody and I learnt how to write an article. Our group Alan was sick, so I have to do all the things with the other two members but I think that doesn't matter because I have done my best. When I ask the waiter to recommend a dish for us, I felt very shy because I never do this thing before. And I think I have to be bold and ask the waiter politely and don't be afraid anymore. This time, I thing I have done better than the last time becaus this time I have checked the acticle carefully and listen to the instruction carefully.I hope I can get a better mark this time.

In the preparation of the food fair, I have learnt many things. Such as, how to make a cheese cake, how to take videos and how to upload the videos on you tube. But the most important thing that I haven learnt is to respect others. When we show our videos to the class, we need someone to support us, is not to laugh at us. And we should also consider the classmate that can't present clearly and help them. Some thing that I like is to eat the cheese cake when we finish the preparation. It was the first time that I make cheese cake and it was very tasty. Of course, I have to wash the utensils too, and I hate this step. My comments of the picky eaters

I think the picky eaters are not due to genetics. Most of them follow their parents' eating habits. Why I said that is because if a family eat together, they will eat the same things that the parents cook. When the parents cook, they will cook what they like, and will have no choice for their children. So the children accept the parents eating habits without trying other food. Therefore, the parents should have a good diet, so the children can follow them healthily.

I think I am not a fussy eater. I only don't like bitter gourd because it is so bitter and the taste is so bad. Even my mother and brother don't like it. Therefore, a person's eating habit comes from a family's eating habit and not genetics.

One of my hobby is dancing. I love dancing very much seen I was four years old. When I was four years old, I watched the television is about a dancing competition. In the competition, the dancers dressed very nice. And all the dancers' made-up were very pretty. When the dancers began to dance, their dancing steps were very elegant. Just like a princess is dancing in the ballroom. At that time, I loved dancing very much. Then, I asked my mom to let me learn dancing. Luckily, she agreed and help me to find a dancing center.
