Experience in interviewing a Yau Ma Tai person

One Saturday afternoon, my group members and I went to Yau Ma Tei Wing On for doing a interview. Luckily, group member Ada, her aunt is one of the Wing On workers, so it is easier to do our interview.

When we got into Wing On, the first thing we did is to thank Ada's aunt. She helped us to interview her friend. But when we gave the question paper to her friend, we found that she didn't know much English. Then, we asked her in Cantonese and changed the answer in English. I thought that is the most complicated part. We spent almost 30 minutes to do the interview.


In this interview, I learnt that when we ask people question, we have to speak loud and ask them politely. So that, they will reply you seriously and give you a better answer. Next time, I will ask them in a better way and I will find a people that knows English. That will be easier to do the record.

Computer Literacy

I used flash to make my animation. It is about a student who is very love his school. One day, he wake up at 9:00. He is being late for school. When he woke up, he dressed up quickly, but he relised that that day is no need to go to school. Then he took off his clothes immdiently. He tried to sleep again, but he can't. That is because of he can't go to school, he love his school and he wanted to go to school every day. At last, he thought of his classmate, teachers and the school. Then he slept very well.
I think I can get grade B, because I think it is quite short and the colour of the movie that I made are so boring.

History Assignment

My name was Laurence. I lived in the Middle Ages. I was born in Suffolk in 1200A.D. and died in 1240 A.D.
My job was a Vir-Ren Castle gatekeeper, so I lived in Vir-Ren Castle in Suffolk. The castle was very important at that time. It was the most fantastic thing in the town. I was proud of myself because I can live in the castle and work for the king. My job is to protect the king, and don't let the stranger enter the castle. Every day, I have to wake up at 6:00a.m. and watch the gate until the other gatekeeper comes to work.
I think that job is boring,but I love it because I can earn a lot of money and I can have enough food to eat and have place to live. All gatekeepers are friendly to each other. At that time, the king was very kind, so all the town people and the workers were so relax. When we have spare time, we will play with each other. There was a good place to live.
